GMPR  "Kodi"  MH

Kodi embodies style and looks when doing what he loves best-hunting. He finished his first hunting season and is starting competition this spring and summer. He has shown a tremendous desire for both finding birds and retrieving them. He is an excellent marker, runs with enthusiasm and is very trainable. Kodi has an impressive pedigree with several famous Labs on both sides of his pedigree (see pedigree). His sire is Sir Mighty Eli, who has received his GMPR from APLA and won the Quail Unlimited National trial in 2000. His Dam (Blackwater Lexus) is also a GMPR out of FC AFC Blackwater Bart II and FC Red Oak Casey. Kodi is carrying on the same traits that his two parents have, including pointing and marking. Look for him at future AKC and APLA events.

Kodi was recently purchased by Rick Hastings who has added an APLA Grand Master Pointing Retriever title. High Sierra Labradors continues to use Kodi as a stud dog because he is one of the best yellow pointing retrievers in the country.
